Oldest buddies..............
Hey friends.....I am writing this piece after a long time.Actually I have had lots of time to write about all possible stuff,but its just dat I dnt feel like writing too much.Today its time to write bout a few people who hav been the bestest mates dat I cud ever have had.People say "Friends are those people who know more of ur secrets dan anyone in the world".I actually do not confide much in people and even to my closest frnds.But few here are those ones who has made a very special place for themselves in ma life.And watever happens,will alwyz be my friends.3 years bak i though that they were my best frnds.I now retract from that statement cos I hav seen our frndship grow to a different level altogether since den.Thus I wud still nt call dem my best frnds so dat our frndship reaches new heights.All these seems a lil too filmy,and I sometimes get a little too consciouss bout these things.But neva mind."Kabhi Kabhi Chalta hai".lolzzzz.
Now I was a little confused bout whom to write bout 1st.So had to toss a coin to decide.It came out to be a head.So the lucky winner who gets a chance to be mentioned 1st is decided.


This guy used to study in school wid me.He was like evry other class mate of mine.It was only after we both left school that we became real gud frnds.It was in class 10 that we both found out that our moms knew each other since their childhood.I would even go the extent of saying that we kept in touch with each other after school only because of this reason.But very soon he became one of my most gud buddies.He is one guy who wud anyday build a world around his friends.Though he has personally said that friends mean a lot to him,you could tell dat only by being with him for not more dan a few days.He is a huge flirt,never serious bout most things in life,and but wen it comes to being gud frnds,he is quite up with the best there is.He is alwyz there to help each and every one of his friends,and dat actually shows how gud a frnd one is.He sometimes gets a little frustrated out of his life but my simple suggestion to him would be is to LET IT BE and move on.There are many things in life which are not the way we want dem to be but dats part and parcel of our lives.He needs to get a bit realistic about life.Though lately he has started realising this,but he actually needs to do somethng bout this part of the story in his life.Whenver I am a little down due to any reason or the other,he is one guy I would refer to any day.Though most of his suggestion would at first seem to be quite stupid,most of dem are actually the ones to be done.This is solely because paths to be followed during problems are often tough and someone has to show you the way.Though at first you may actually not like it,but it is often the one to be followed.I always thought that I knew all bout him but recently cane to know much more beautiful things about him,most of which I hav already stated.I hav realised that there is more to know bout him dat what I already do and i can actually go on to say that I know more about him than most people that know him.One more suggestion buddy.One huge problem wid him that he is not even close to being serious about his studies.He at times has a habit of going with the flow and not realising it.Though he realises it later,its too late then.High time buddy you actually take ur studies seriously,cos on the line is ur FUTURE.That is one thing one should not playfull off.STOP FOLLOWING ARSENAL.....THEY ARE AS HOPELESS AS ANYTHING....heheheheh.....for more of arsenal taunts,plz refer to next person I wil be writing about.

Here we go....Now since I ended the last thing talking about Somnaths favourite team,this is one guy who can easily get into his head regarding that.And den is the time u see their faces.hhehehe......But returning back to serious stuff,this guy "Ritwick" is probably the oldest friend of mine.We litterally have been the best of pals ever since Std 6 wen we both joined St.Joans.He is one someone who shares a lot of his traits wid me.Once he gets his head into somethn (either stupid or imp),he excels at it.For example,it may be Orkut,getting a wicket in the first over of cricket matches we played,Cricxchange,and most recently Counter strike.He is also very intelligent.Always used to be one of the most studious guys in the class and was particularly upset bout the fact that I outscored him in Hindi(both our 2nd language),add to dat awesome Arsenal bashing.LOL.After our 10th,he made it a point to get admission in the topmost college in Kolkata and which he eventually was succesfull in achieving.He is someone who u can easily trust on regarding anythn.Though he is nt someone who very easily potrays his emotions in front of others,but has loads of dem inside him.Ask dis to my somnath when he had thro some problems with his relationship.These two guys discuss anythng and everythng.They had also planned somethn bout startn a conversation with any gal when one was near their vicinity.He actually doesnt involve me in all this cos he probably thnks of me as a computer possessed(also calls my computers my GF),studious kid who has no interest in all these stuff.Fair enuf cos he is actually fed up telln me about all this.hehehe.He is one guy who is more eager for me to hav a girl friend dan even myself.I hav now known him for a gud part of a decade and I can easily tell dat he is one of the best , down to earth ,humble human being u cud ever meet with and I am proud to hav a gr8 frnd like him.Thanks for all the wonderful time.Thnks mate for always being wid me.

3 yrs....contd!!!!










Today I hav finished the 3rd out of the 5 papers of this Semesters final xam,which also brings me to a step closer to the end of the 6th Semester and thus 3 wonderful years.3 years which I wud never ever imagine to forget anytym in life.3 years which have given me a wonderful bunch of friends.3 years of total non stop masti.3 years which has given to so many wonderful memories that I have already started to fear the day when I have to leave all this and start a new phase of life,which I am sure wil be nowhere as beautiful and wonderful as the last 3 years.

I always had a feeling that school days are the most wonderful days of a persons life.The amout of fun that you have in school is not comparable to anything.I still maintain that perception of mine but these 3 years hav shown me that lyf in a collg and especially a hostel is as beautiful as the younger days of fun.

Since we are nearly at the end of our 3rd year,I can c the anguish and regret in the faces of our seniors,who wil very soon be leaving the college and goin bak to their places.I really hope that the battery in Gods watch drains off pretty soon and the next one year in the longest that the world cud ever hav.I really dread the day wen we wil again pack our luggages and move out permanently from the hostel,carrying all those wonderful memories.It would no doubt bring tears to my eyes(well i shudnt hav wriiten this),tears which would pray to the almighty to rewind the last 4 yrs.

I really hope the next yr turns out to be more fantastic , more fantabulous , more eccentric .This would always be a very very special part of my life and so will it be in the life of each and every of my dear frnds.I wil miss them all and would like to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you , for all the goods and the bads,for all the fights and love,for all the bde bumbs and parties had.Each and everyone of you wil alwyz be an important part of life,one which I wudnt dare to forget.Thank you frnds...luv u alllllllllllll.

3 years!!!!!!!!
It was the 1st of September.It was raining like cats and dogs(bit of an old phrase).I had never stayed in a hostel.So was a sceptical about how things would turn out.The whole scenario was something that I had never faced in my life.I had no clues about what kind of people I would meet here.Whether they would like me and vice versa.Whether they would the kind with whom I will gel pretty fast or it would take me a certain time to get a feel of the surroundings and the people near me.

Many had arrived and were arriving in the hostel on that very day.I felt that they also might be going through the same kind of feelings.On the list of the people whom i met , first are my roomies.It is more of an obligation that you hav a gud bond wid ur roomies but slowly and surely they became real gud frnds of mine!Then came the people near room,i.e so called neibhours.They were followed by my classmates.The ones wid whom i had to do my studies for the next 4 yrs.

The parties we had , the pranks we played on each other for every trivial thing,the teachers we frustrated,the classes we massbunked,the last night studies b4 xam-ONE NIGHT STAND,the beatings on the bdes,the long hours of games(CS),the usual 7-8(sometyms more) hours of sleep but starting and ending at unusual tyms(lyk go to sleep at 7 in the morning and if wake up,god knows wen), the glasses we broke playing cricket in the corridor, the hostel and college rules we broke,the comments we passed on each other while each one was supporting their team during the IPL and EPL,the fights we had,the names we gave to each fellow student and also the teachers,the fun in each diwali and holi we spent,the xams which each one used to help the other,and a million more small but beautiful things has really made these years one the most beautiful of lyf as yet.It has already been 3 yrs since i came to the collg but these 3yrs hav just passed by in jiffy and i hope the next yr is the longest in the history.

hey frnds...lets play a game..........Now this game was originally proposed by our very own ANUJ RANJAN Sahab ....so credit for its succes goes to hum.........i am going to write a few lines about each one of us...... its ur job to indentify the person and tell me the name!Some +ves and also -ves...haha.....aur please...public forum hai dost log...jab naam likhoge...sirf naam likhna...uske baare mein apne spcl vichar apne paas hi rehne dena......ok....!!!
HERE WE GO:

1)This guy is very intense in watever work he is persuing.He is a very gud programmer,probably the best in class.But his prob lies in the fact dat he gets easily carried away wid things which he has to learn to contain,for eg. nw sometyms when he is arguing wid some1 on some matter he gets carried away and starts gettn srs enuf to do nythng.He is very gud at heart,a very gud frnd of mine and sum1 whom I am really envious of the amount the of dedication he has for his wrk.

2)He is someone who has alwyz been a very gud frnd of mine from the very beginning.Acc. to me,he is some1 who is very much like me,which also carries my +ves and -ves.Though nt shown by his marks,he is very intelligent.It shows wen he comes up wid innovative ideas.Its jus bout channeling it thro the right direction with enuf attitude.One of his problems lies wid the fact that he changes his views very easily when he hears some1,though he has no idea about this.This is somethng which he has to wrk out and its pretty easy for a guy like him.

3)He is some1 who had alwyz been a frnd,but is nw a very gud frnd of mine.Our frndshp startd wid somethn which is very common is colleges.(nw if i tell dis,it bcms hell easy.1nce u knw the guy,u wil knw this too).He is a big dealing baaz....kamina saara din dealn dete rehta hai.He is one of the most modest guy u wil vr meet,and is truly a wonderful person.He is very emotional and has lt of drmz.His problem is wid the fact that sometyms he doesnt take the thing which he needs to do or doin srsly.Thnks for being ma frnd.

4)Wen i heard his name for the first tym,it came to me as bit of a shck.His name came wid a feeling of fright,but as it turns out, of the coolest guys in town.A master prgrammer.Does nt pay the little most attention towrds his copies but wen it comes to programming, he is really gud at it.He is also very gud at somethn which mst of us even bunk classes to watch.Very gud at heart,alwayz ready to help othrs and like a true engineer njoyz collg lyf to the fullest.

5)He is also one of my very gud frnds.Very gud at watvr he does and also quite headstrong.Follows the values lyk anythn.Very intelligent and is dedicated to watever he is doin.Lyk all gud frns,hav had quite a few arguements but the fact which i like bout him is dat he is some1 who tels thngs clearly and blatantly on ur face,shows u ur weakness and strengths.His prob is in the fact that he is nt flexible with his values and which is a must in the current wrld.Nice to hav a gr8 frnd like u!

6)I knw her frm a long tym.But nly became gud frnds a yr or 2 bak.Is one my best frnds.Alwyz try to help me out in everythn.Sometyms acts a little stupid but it is dat which is the most lykd trait bout her.Wen she first met me,thought of me as very snobbish but nw repents all of it.hhahahah.............Is alwyz thr wid u wenvr u need her.Is a little too emotional sometyms.but utna to chalta hi hai.Is very frndly,can make frns very fast.So my suggestion to her wud be to jus watch out a little while fully believing some1.Am lucky to hav a wonderful frnd lyk u and wish dat she has all the happiness in lyf............

7. This is someone who has been always a very gud frnd of mine.Many dreams,many ideas.......He is very gud at heart and is a very humerous person.He is one of those corridor singers(spclly wen he is goin to fill his bottles).My friends and me often coax him to sing ...and wen he ultimately does,it is some moment to cherish(u btr nt be thr).Always stays cool and rarely hav i seen been fussed.(clue:article in his name).

8.On first sight,u wud say that she is a gal.On knwing her,u wud say "hw is she a gal".is a very gud frnd of mine.(have to cal u a "FRND")..though we are more of enemies.Can fight wid u al damn day.Bhao khane mein no one can beat her(is it not??.......).Her name is lyk she has come frm a jungle(i mean her nick name,given by me....)...!!!!....Plz tel her,I am obviously taller dan her,but chalo galat faimi mein jeene do bache ko!...hahaha

9.This guy is very smart,outspoken,has a lot of knowledge about current affairs.His marks in sems doesnt show the amount of knowledge this guy possess.What I lyk about him is the amount of interest he takes in his work,mostly extra-curricular.The both of us share a very gud chem and dat definitely helps ur frndship.If he is a little more careful bout his studies,he wud a lot more successful.most people call him by his initials,which if i remember correctly,which was actually coined by me!!!!!

10.He is again one of those who u doesnt hav the right marks,but watvr he gets is mostly by understanding in clss(wnvr he decides to pay a visit to the class) and by one night of study.I consider him to be a very intelligent and sensitive guy who is alwyz thr to help u out.He is one of those guyz upon whom u can easily rely on cos he is truly a rsponsible guy.Eats a lot and takes a lt of pride in the width of his belly.He outluk is such that he is alwyz drunk or out of senses for some reason or the other.But a very gud and fattt frnd to hav!!!!!

11.She is someone who u wud assosiate wid xtreme anger and frustration..hehe..bad start(although she is tryn to cntrl it and i must add, has done a pretty recomendable job at it).If u want to hav a little fun,jus irritate her a bit and den she wil start givn u her dialogues.A person who is emotional and can sometyms be totally out of her mind.Write gud poems(dat takes some patience and vocab)..but she is gud at it.Jus do a massbnk and sing her the song..i mean dat one!!!!!!!!!..has given me a free invite to her home..."kabhi bhi aa jana" and double tyms many guyz(my younger bro,her bhai,and gt knws hw many othrs).Isko ekdin propose maarna hi padega!!!......thnks for being ma frnd ________(She is one gal who is takes my side,acc. to her nick name)

12.Now this person is very intelligent , mature and a little too superstitious by my liking(heheh..had to mention this).Some1 who u cud easily rely on,very hardworking and very focussed on his job.One guy who u cud easily consult in tyms of need.Is sometym irritating but at most times is helpful.Unlike most of us,has his concepts very clear,is very gud wid his studies,and takes dem very seriously.Personally,the problem wid him is dat sometyms a little too overmatured in his actions.I wud suggst him to cntrl this frustration and anger,which wud definitely do him a wrld of gud...!! :).Thnks for truly being a wonderful frnd.

Manchester United : THE RED DEVILS ...contdd





Few of the gr8 names who hav played for this gr8 club are Eric Cantona,Ryan Giggs, Denis Law,George Best,Matt Busby,David Beckham,Paul Scholes,Mark Hughes,Bryan Robson,Gary Neville,Sir Bobby Charlon and numerous other names who made their name at this club.ManU also hav a blend of youth and experience with players like Christiano Ronaldo,Ferdinand,Rooney,Tevez,Anderson,Nani,Vidic,Evans,Berbatov,fabio,Rafael,Tosic and others who are goin to be legends at some point of their career.The contribution of all these players wud be incomplete without the mention of the name of Sir. Alex Fergusson.He is the person who is hugely responsible for the present success of the club.He was brought as the coach of this team in 1986 ,only wid the aim to beat their fierce rivals Liverpool who used to win most things at that time.The startn wasnt so gud and he was at the brink of being removed as the manager.He managed to scrap thro' to win the FA cup and then the rest is all history.He has been a major reason for the success of this club.He is 74 now but still continues to lead the team with more enthusiasm as more and more days pass by.He is the master mind behind the Manchester United juggernaut.

Manchester United : THE RED DEVILS
Many people know that I luv sports.Though I am nt into playing most of them,I follw most games.Be it Cricket,Football,Tennis,Formula1,WWE,Hockey,Golf,Rugby,Badminton,Table Tennis(plz add a few othrs urslf while reading).And today I wil write bout the best football team in the planet.i.e Manchester United.Founded in 1878, as Newton Heath L&YR F.C and..based at OLD TRAFFOR-the theatre of dreams...and .later renamed on 26 April 1902 as Manchester United Football Club.Thus this was the birth of a club which is now supprtd by 330 million people , which is roughly 5% of the worlds total population.Enuf of history bout the club.The first tym I saw this club playing was sometym in the year 1999 or nearabout when they beat Liverpool(another famous football club team) in the late moments of the game by scoring 2 goals in the last 2 mins of the match...and finally beating them 2-1.One more reason why I startd luving this club was cos my fav player,David Beckham,used to be a part of the famous outfit.His free kicks are always a trt to watch.Many people as me the reason to follow ManU rathr than other teams.The reasons being pretty obvious.Their attacking flair of football is a trt to the eyes.The play the passing game and like to score those beautiful kind of goals.Lyk most other teams,they do nt start defending as soon as det score one but work on the den increasing the lead to something unassailable.Along with attack,dey are very gud defensive as well.They hav the best defensive record in their own league for the last 2 yrs.They are the current holders of the Carling Cup,English premier league ,Champions league and The World Club Cup.They hav won the EPL the most no. of times since its beginning.The also hav the distinction of winning the treble in the yr 1999 and are aiming for a unprecedented quintuple this season.The history of Manu wud be incomplete widout the mention of the sad events of Manchester United players meeting their lord early due to an unfortunate air crash on their way back from Munich to Old Trafford.The team was rebuilt and they went on the be the first english team to win the European Cup 10 years later......

AJ,Manish,Nish and den among the gals there are Anki,Aditi,Payal,Ghungs,Tan,Saki,Pre,Shoana,Rani,Ayesha,Romali,Khushi,and the list goes on and on(if n1 is missed....plz lemme knw).......All these hav their own individual flair and features making them all different and truly wonderful friends to hav.Most of us were new to a hostel lyf wen we arrived here,but wid the care and support of each other,3 yrs hav passed wid the blink of an eye and we are more lyk a family nw.We play , fight , play pranks,do mischief , and wat nt all together whch actually gives us immense JOY(dats me).We mass bunk classes , study together durn exams , beat up guyz having bdes, and even support each other in tyms of problems and crisis of any nature...which every one of us wil remember vividly for all the days to come in our lives.I really hope against hope that the next 1 and a 1/2 year takes some million years to pass by and even after it does....we still remain the bestest and the bestest of friends.Thank u all for being such wonderful support to me and hope our frienship outlast our
